On 28 February we were thrilled to be invited to Kinetika’s studio in Thurrock to integrate our individual designs into a single composition to make up our silk flag, using a wax technique called Batik. This involved painting our designs in bold, bright colours but ensuring we didn’t overrun onto the wax outlines – quite a challenge! Our lovely tutor Sarah was a huge support and we had a brilliantly creative day.
