Easter has almost arrived! We are honoured to have been invited by the National Trust at Chartwell (Winston Churchill’s magnificent Kent country house) to contribute to their 2026 Community Easter Egg Project.
A group of us from AwB gathered on a glorious sunny morning in early March at Chartwell and were generously provided with paints, brushes and a large egg-shaped wooden base which we were invited to decorate.
Working together creatively as a group, we successfully planned, designed and decorated our Chartwell Easter Egg to great effect! Everyone had a go at paintingtheir colourful chosen motif – to include bunnies; spring flowers; birds; chicks and abold red bow. The centrepiece of the composition featured our Arts WithoutBoundaries logo.
Our decorated Easter egg will be displayed in the Chartwell garden – alongside other community groups’ work – for the duration of the Easter period for visitors to enjoy and celebrate the arrival of Easter. Thank you to Chartwell for this joyous and creative opportunity!
