Hammerwood Park

Following the easing of the most restrictive anti-covid measures in the summer of 2021, the Band was able meet up for the first time in eighteen months at an outdoors reunion at Hammerwood Park in East Sussex. The Pinnegar family kindly hosted the event. The band played some of their favourite pieces on the terrace of the magnificent house enjoying sweeping views of the Sussex countryside.

Rehearsal in St Edith Hall, Kemsing

The Band then met for their first indoor rehearsal since the lockdown at the St Edith Hall in Kemsing in late September. Work continued on a new composition themed on Nature which will form a component of a multi-arts project involving music, art and photography.

The Band are now back to monthly rehearsals at their regular venue in Sevenoaks and are working hard practising for a public concert at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on the 9th April 2022.
